Goodmesh Concours concluded its fourth edition with the live finals at Het Concertgebouw in Amsterdam. The competition attracted over 200 applicants worldwide. After preselection, five exceptional groups of artists were selected to perform live in the finals.
A first-of-its-kind multidisciplinary art competition, Goodmesh Concours encourages artists to combine music with other art forms for an artistically driven exploration of performance art. The 2023 edition focused on the theme of the Full Moon, inviting participants to create unique and captivating performances based on this symbolic and mysterious celestial body.
The winners of Goodmesh Concours 2023 are:
1st Prize: Smackgirls, Rite of Rumi – Saxophone and Dance, Lisa Scheiber & Kanoko Takeuchi.
2nd Prize & Audience Award: Delle Cose, Incanto – Live electronic music with visual live coding and performance.
