The Solti Foundation U.S. has announced that New Zeeland born conductors Gemma New, 34, is the recipient of this year’s Georg Solti Conducting Award. New is Music Director of the Hamilton Philharmonic Orchestra and Principal Guest Conductor of the Dallas Symphony Orchestra.
