In November, rumours said, the Artistic Director of the new hall La Seine Musicale in western Paris, Jean-Luc Choplin, would possibly quit his position only a few months after the hall’s inauguration.

The model of a private-public financing obviously is a problem here, according to Les Echos, and the French newspaper says, that Choplin is worried about the much too tight budget and would quit his job without ending his collaboration totally. He might continue to collaborate in a different form. A case to follow!
