Fevis – Fédération des Ensembles Vocaux et Instrumentaux (Federation of specialized vocal and instrumental ensembles has expelled the ensemble Les Siècles, directed by François-Xavier Roth, following information published in the press and confirmed by Roth. The news release says: « The Federation expresses its support to the musicians and the administrative and technical teams of Les Siècles. It will remain particularly attentive to finding ways to overcome this crisis in order to guarantee their activities and the continuation of a unique project in the national and international musical landscape. »
The decision to expel le Siècles « is in line with our exemplary approach and our uncompromising concern to protect musicians against sexist and sexual violence and harassment, and to protect individuals.
