German conductor Felix Mildenberger (*1990) is the winner of this year’s Donatella Flick LSO Conducting Competition in London. A Winner of the 2nd prize at the 12th Cadaqués International Conducting Competition and of the Robert Spano Conductor Prize 2016 at the Aspen Music Festival, Mildenberger Assistant Conductor of the Orchestre National de France since 2017.
Besides his position in Paris, where he works closely with Emmanuel Krivine and conducts many education concerts throughout the season he is Principal Conductor and Artistic Director of the Symphonieorchester Crescendo Freiburg, which he co-founded in 2014. Since 2017 he is Conducting Fellow with the Dirigentenforum of the German Music Council and with the Akademie Musiktheater heute of the Deutsche Bank Stiftung.
