Eve-Maud Hubeaux

Swiss-French mezzosoprano Eve-Maud Hubeaux has been awarded the First Prize at the 5th International Renata Tebaldi Competition in San Marino. The Second Prize has been given to South Korean baritone Kyu Bong Lee, 30. Marina Nachkebiya, 26 years old soprano from Georgia, was awarded the Third Prize. The Audience Award was awarded to American soprano Jeannette Vecchione-Donatti (1984).

Eve-Maud Hubeaux was born in 1988 in Geneva (Switzerland). She has won numerous awards. She made her successful debut at the Frankfurt Opera House as Waltraute (Walküre) and sung the main mezzo part (Folia) in the world creation of ‘La Nuit de Gutenberg’ by the renowned French composer Philippe Manoury, at ONR Strasbourg. Other recent engagements included productions in Avignon, Massy, Montpellier, Aix-en-Provence, Lausanne and with some prestigious orchestras.
