Enrique Mazzola was announced yesterday as Principal Guest Conductor at the Deutsche Oper Berlin. This new position, covering an initial four year term will bring the Italian conductor to conduct a wide range of repertoire including performances next season of Offenbach’s Contes d’Hoffmann. He will also conduct The Grand Opera Gala in support of the AIDS Foundation at the house this November.
Enrique Mazzola is Artistic & Music Director of the Orchestre National d’Ile de France (ONDIF) to which he was appointed from the 2012/13 season.
