English National Opera (ENO) has secured funding from the Arts Council England (ACE), allowing the organization to continue work in London for another year. Initially ACE hat cut the funding by 100%.
ACE said it would invest £11.46 million into ENO to cover the period from April 2023 to March 2024, which it said would allow it to « sustain a programme of work at the ENO’s home the London Coliseum, and at the same time help the ENO start planning for a new base outside London by 2026 ».
