Anlässlich des 100. Todestages des Schriftstellers Marcel Proust hat Olivier Baumont dem Autor ein Cembalo-Recital gewidmet. Dafür hat er Bach, Rameau, Scarlatti und Händel, aber auch Reynaldo Hahn, Massenet und Ravel in den Texten von Proust aufgespürt.
Gemeinsam mit kammermusikalisch gut erprobten Partnern hat er ein facettenreiches Programm zusammengestellt, das der stilistischen Vielfalt nicht nur durch die Verwendung verschiedener Instrumente, sondern auch durch die jeweils passende Darbietung gerecht wird.
Die äußerst sorgfältige und sensible Aufführung lässt keinerlei Wünsche offen, und mit der hier gebotenen Frische und Musikalität wäre auch Proust zufrieden gewesen.
On the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the death of the writer Marcel Proust, Olivier Baumont has dedicated a harpsichord recital to the author. For this he has tracked down Bach, Rameau, Scarlatti and Handel, but also Reynaldo Hahn, Massenet and Ravel in Proust’s texts.
Together with well-versed chamber music partners, he has put together a multifaceted program that does justice to the stylistic diversity not only through the use of different instruments, but also through the appropriate performance in each case.
The extremely careful and sensitive performance leaves nothing to be desired, and even Proust would have been satisfied with the freshness and musicality on offer here.
