The European Concert Hall Organisation (ECHO) has announced the names of the young artists who will be playing in the dedicated series of the internationals concert halls.
For the 2024/25 season they are:
Carlos Ferreira, clarinet, nominated by Casa da Música Porto with Fundação Gulbenkian Lisbon, Sage Gateshead
Benjamin Kruithof, cello, nominated by Het Concertgebouw Amsterdam with Philharmonie du Luxembourg
Matilda Lloyd, trumpet, nominated by Barbican Centre London with Konserthuset Stockholm
Sào Soulez Larivière, viola, ICMA Young Artist of the Year 2023, nominated by Elbphilharmonie Hamburg with Festspielhaus Baden-Baden, Müpa Budapest, Barbican Centre London
Lukas Sternath, piano, nominated by Musikverein Wien with Wiener Konzerthaus, Philharmonie du Luxembourg
Quatuor Agate, nominated by Konzerthaus Dortmund with Kölner Philharmonie, Philharmonie de Paris
