Dutch tenor Hubert Delamboye died on 11 June, aged 72. He made his debut in Wiesbaden, and performed later at major opera houses in New York, Tokyo, Paris, Berlin, Munich, Amsterdam, Brussels, Turin, Vienna, and Zurich. His principal roles were Florestan, Hoffmann, Don José, Samson, Otello, and Tristan. His son Enrico is a conductor, currently working at the theatre in Koblenz, Germany.
