Designs have been unveiled for London’s new concert hall planned by the London Symphony Orchestra and its music director Simon Rattle. The building on the site of the Museum of London in the city’s centre, features a 2,000 seat concert hall, vineyard style, one smaller hall, restaurants, four floors for commercial activities, and public space. It has been designed by the US architect Liz Diller and should cost £288m (€ 329m). The money will all come from private donations.
