Der 1995 geborene Däne Gustav Piekut spielt ein originelles und kohärentes Programm und stellt darin seine technische und ausdrucksstarken Mittel brillant unter Beweis.
Er ist technisch hochbegabt und spielt mit großer Spontaneität, aber sein Spiel spiegelt auch Nachdenklichkeit und Emotionen wider.
Er ist gewiss ein Spezialist für Klangfarben und dynamische Variationen und kann diese mit einer kühnen Vorstellungskraft verbinden. So realisiert er in den Stücken von Scriabin so gut wie in denen von Rued Langgaard eine packende Mischung aus Phantasie, Ekstatik, Schizophrenie und Fantasmen jeder Art. So kann nur ein wahrer musikalischer Poet, ein richtiger Klangkünstler spielen.
Die Tonaufnahme ist von bestechender Klarheit.

Thus, in the pieces of Scriabin as well as in those of Rued Langgaard, he realizes a gripping mixture of fantasy, ecstasy, schizophrenia and fantasies of every kind. Only a true musical poet, a real sound artist can play like this.
