The Spanish National Institute of Performing Arts and Music in Madrid extends David Afkham’s contract as Principal Conductor and artistic director of the Orquesta y Coro Nacionales de Espana (OCNE) until September 2026, thus for two additional seasons in addition to those of his current contract, which expires on August 31, 2024.
