Das Barockensemble Forma Antiqva, gegründet 1998 von den Brüdern Aaron, Daniel und Pablo Zapico legt eine Auswahl von Highlights aus seinen CDs vor. ‘My choice’ präsentiert das Ensemble in variablen Formationen in spanischer Tanzmusik, bekannten Werken des Spätbarocks und auch mit Vokalmusik.

Wie aus früheren Pizzicato-Rezensionen ersichtlich, handelt es sich ausnahmslos um exquisite Interpretationen, technisch brillant, virtuos, dazu aber auch sehr eloquent. Ein barockes Feuerwerk der Sonderklasse.

The baroque ensemble Forma Antiqva, founded in 1998 by brothers Aaron, Daniel and Pablo Zapico, presents a selection of highlights from its CDs. ‘My choice’ shows the ensemble in variable formations in Spanish dance music, well-known works of the late Baroque and also in some vocal music. As can be seen from earlier Pizzicato reviews, these are without exception exquisite interpretations, technically brilliant, virtuosic, but also very eloquent. A true baroque firework!
