The new Vltava Philharmonic Hall will be built by the Danish architectural studio Bjarke Ingels Group (BIG), which was selected of a total of 19 applicants in an international competition.

The new Hall will have three auditoriums: the main concert hall seating 1800, a smaller hall for chamber music with 700 seats and a multi-functional hall for up to 500 people. The hall should be ready by 2032. It will be on the bank of the Vltava river and have two resident orchestras, the Prague Symphony Orchestra (FOK) and the Czech Philharmonic.

The new site is located two kilometers from Prague old city and the Rudolfinum.
