Amsterdam’s Concertgebouworkest will give a live concert as part of a nationally organized series of pilot concerts and events, aimed at a safe and phased reopening of the cultural sector. The concert, which will be conducted by Paavo Järvi, is to take place at The Concertgebouw in Amsterdam on Friday 16 April and is open to an audience of 425 based on the 1,5 meter protocol.
Paavo Järvi will conduct Mozart’s Piano Concerto No. 24, K.491, with Víkingur Ólafsson making his debut as soloist with the Concertgebouworkest, followed by Schumann’s Symphony No. 3, ‘Rhenish’.
All visitors must be in possession of a concert ticket and show a negative corona test result which is not older than forty hours at the moment the concert starts. Visitors will be offered a free rapid test at a designated test location.
