The Colorado Symphony Orchestra is strongly in favor of a renovation of the Boettcher Concert Hall in Denver. In a report by the Denver Post, CEO Jerome H. Kern is quoted saying that the hall « needs renovation, not demolition. » The orchestra’s management unveiled a $40 million renovation proposal for the 35-year-old city-owned hall. The city voted for a renovation in 2007, but today politicians are rather in favor of a destruction.
