The orchestra Solistes Européens Luxembourg (SEL) has announcet that Christoph König has renewed his contract as musical director and principal conductor until the end of the 2024-2025 season.
The press release says: « This prolongation will allow him to continue the excellent work he has accomplished during his twelve years at the head of our orchestra. He has instilled into our musicians dynamism, intensity, cohesion and precision – qualities whose development is promoted by the relevance and originality of his programmes. »

As Pizzicato reported already, Christoph König will start his tenure as principal conductor of the Orquesta Sinfonica de la RTVE (Spanish Radio Symphony Orchestra) as of the 2023-2024 season and as musical director from the beginning of the season 2022-2023.
