American composer Cole Porter (1891-1964) is at the center of the show ‘Cole Porter in Paris’, staged by Christophe Mirambeau at at the Paris Châtelet Theatre from 11 December and played by Les Frivolités Parisiennes.

Cole Porter in Paris is imagined as a picture book, a sound and visual fresco that transports the audience to the so-called Roaring Twenties, where the personal journey of the man and the artist is evoked as much as the new breath of life that irrigated Paris after the Great War. Another world, mythical, dreamed, in love with freedom, sensuality and joy. And then, an artistic abundance which reshuffles all the cards of taste and proposes the creative ways which will nourish all the 20th century. Cole Porter was one of the stars of this of this bubbling Paris.
