British record label Chandos and Sinfonia of London have announced a new collaboration. The recording of Korngold’s Symphony in F sharp, Theme and Variations and Straussiana is the orchestra’s first CD, issued in partnership with Chandos Records, and is released in September 2019. Further discs will follow over the coming months.
Formed originally in 1955, Sinfonia of London was re-established in 2018 by the British conductor John Wilson to devote itself, at least initially, to recording projects.
