At the final of the 4th edition of the Étoiles du Piano, after 4 days of intense competition featuring young international talent, the jury awarded the First Prize to Carter Johnson (Canada) and Second Prize to Rodolphe Menguy (France). Third Prize went to Kuan-Wei Chen (Taiwan).

Born in 1996 on Vancouver Island, Canada, Carter Johnson began the study of piano at age 5. He received a Master of Music from the Juilliard School under the direction of Joseph Kalichstein and Matti Raekallio, and continued to the Yale School of Music.

Rodolphe Menguy is a young French pianist born in Paris on November 13, 1997. After studying at the CRR de Boulogne-Billancourt, he was admitted to the Conservatoire National de Paris in the class of Denis Pascal and Varduhi Yeritsyan.
