Der Glockenspieler Adrien Parret spielt an den Glockenspielen von Miribel und Chambéry ein Programm mit Werken, die für das Glockenspiel geschrieben wurden oder bearbeitet wurden, von Komponisten aus dem 18. Jahrhundert bis in die heutige Zeit.
So entstand für Hortus ein apartes Album für Liebhaber. Parrets Spiel ist untadelig und stimmungsvoll, die Aufnahmen sind von guter Qualität, aber manchmal hinterlässt der Wind, der die Töne durch die Stadt trägt, ein leises Brummen in den Mikrophonen.
The carillonneur Adrien Parret plays on the Miribel and Chambéry carillons a program of works written or arranged for the carillon by composers from the 18th century to the present day.
The result is a very special album for connoisseurs. Parret’s playing is impeccable and atmospheric, the recordings are of good quality, but sometimes the wind that carries the sounds through the city leaves a low hum in the microphones.
