Marin Alsop, Music Director of the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra said at a larger meeting in Baltimore said she is growing frustrated with the organization’s failure to promote its activities, according to an article in the Baltimore Sun.
The conductor whose contract will end in 2021, more or less threatened to not renew it. Marin Alsop mainly criticized that many activities don’t’ receive sufficient publicity to get the attention of a broader audience.
