Baltimore Symphony musicians are angry. Since September 9 they are playing without a contract, after the management’s proposal to offer a four-month extension through Jan. 15, 2019 had been rejected. They hope that the management will come with serious proposals for the next contract, when the negotiations resume next week. Meanwhile a group of musicians played a pop-up concert in the city center of Baltimore to draw attention to expired contract.
