German soprano Anja Harteros, 47, was honoured the Meistersinger-Medaille at the Bayerische Staatsoper following a performance of uccini’s Tosca yesterday evening. The award was donated by the Freunde des Nationaltheaters e.V. and honors her outstanding work for the Munich opera house, where she is celebrating her 20th stage anniversary.
