The Cape Symphony in West Barnstable, Massachusetts, has appointed Alyssa Wang as Music Director. Wang is a conductor, violinist, and composer. She is co-founder, artistic director, and principal conductor of the Boston Festival Orchestra.

After serving as assistant conductor for Boston Ballet for four years, she will start the 2025-26 season as Music Director of the Cincinnati Ballet.
