Alondra de la Parra

The Queensland Symphony Orchestra will not renew Mexican conductor Alondra de la Parra’s three-year contract as Music Director, the Australian magazine Limelight reports. Born in New York in 1981, she moved to Mexico with her family when she was 7. She studied in Mexico and at the Manhattan School of Music.
