Israeli pianist Alexandra Segal won First Prize at the piano section of the 2022 George Enescu International Competition. The second and third prizes were awarded to pianists George Todica (Romania) and Chun Lam U (Hong Kong).
Alexandra Segal was born in Kyiv, Ukraine in 1995. Alexandra started her piano studies at the age of six with in Kiev. She obtained her Bachelor degree at the Buchmann-Mehta School of Music and her Master degree at the University of Music Franz Liszt in Weimar, Germany. She is currently studying in the University of Music and Performing Arts Graz.
