In the light of the ongoing Coronavirus situation, the 2020 Aldeburgh Festival has been cancelled, the organizers says. The 73th edition of the festival was scheduled from Friday 12 – Sunday 28 June 2020. The Festival was founded in 1948 by the composer Benjamin Britten, the singer Peter Pears and the librettist/producer Eric Crozier.
