Lawrence Cummings
Academy of Ancient Music (AAM) has appointed 52-year-old British conductor Laurence Cummings as Music Director from the 2021/22 season. Laurence Cummings is one of Britain’s most versatile exponents of historical performance both as a conductor and a harpsichord player.
Cummings is Artistic Director of the International Handel Festival Göttingen, Musical Director of the London Handel Festival and Music Director of the Orquestra Barroca Casa da Musica in Porto.
