To commemorate its former Chief Conductor Claudio Abbado, the Berliner Philharmoniker has made available many of the concerts they recorded together at no charge at The Digital Concert Hall. These recordings include some of Abbado’s collaborations with Daniel Barenboim (Beethoven’s Piano Concerto No 3), Maurizio Pollini (Beethoven’s Fantasia for Piano, Chorus and Orchestra in C Minor), Anne Sofie von Otter (Berg’s Altenberg Lieder) and Gil Shaham (Brahms’ Violin Concerto).
