Peter Gelb, 72, has extended his contract as General Manager at New York’s Metropolitan Opera through 2030. Gelb is in this position since 2006.

The news was published via an article in the New York Times announcing a new deal with Saudi Arbia that would see the company become the winter resident company at the Royal Diriyah Opera House.
