The Jacksonville Symphony, Florida, has received a $15 million donation – the largest single gift in the orchestra’s 75-year history.

The Symphony announced  that the gift is dedicated to their endowment fund, which supports symphony musicians, the commissioning of new works and artistic partnerships.

This is a blessing for the orchestra since Republican Governor de Santis cancelled every cultural funding.
