The German conductor Christian Blex, 32, has been appointed Principal Guest Conductor of the Malmö Symphony Orchestra (MSO) for the 2026/2027–2028/2029 seasons.
Blex, who won the Herbert von Karajan Young Conductors Award 2025, has, since 2022, served as assistant to Kirill Petrenko at the Berliner Philharmoniker.
