Chih Yuan Michael Chang
Bucharest Music Institute has announced the winners of the 5th edition of the BMI International Conducting Masterclass & Competition. First Prize was awarded to Taiwanese inductor Chih Yuan Michael Chang. The 1st prize winner will get one performance (full symphony) with the Bucharest Symphony Orchestra in Award Gala Concert plus three concerts with Arad, Oradea & Satu Mare State Philharmonies within the 2024 season, €3000 & official certificate and recommendations to other orchestras and music agents.
2nd Prize: Minchao Cai, China. 3rd Prize: Nitai Rach, Israel. The jury was chaired by John Axelrod.
