Italian instrument collector Attilio Berni told AFP Tuesday that 35 instruments have been stolen from his collection of 600 saxophones, built up over 25 years. Eight of them have already been found by police. Berni estimated the total value of the instruments stolen over the weekend at 300,000 euros. The stolen saxophones include some made in the 19th century, or others that had belonged to well-known saxophonists.
