Daniel Barenboim hat zwar am Wochenende die Berliner Philharmoniker dirigiert, aber jetzt sagt er wieder mehrere Klavierabende ab: in der Zürcher Tonhalle, im Stadtcasino Basel sowie in der Victoria Hall in Genf. Ein Konzert in der Fondation Gianadda in Martigny am 10. Juni wurde bislang nicht abgesagt. Einige der abgesagten Konzerte waren nach den Absagen im März neu angesetzt worden, vergeblich.
Der mit 25.000 Euro dotierte TONALi Award geht in diesem Jahr in der Kategorie ‘Mut zur Utopie’ an Stegreif – The Improvising Symphony Orchestra. In der Begründung der Jury heißt es, Die Formation habe « das Orchester als solches revolutioniert hat. Stegreif hat seit seiner Gründung für viel beachteten Wirbel in der Konzertwelt gesorgt und trägt zur fantastischen Entfesselung der Klassik bei.“ Read More →
