With music from five centuries, this year’s Salzburg Whitsun Festival paid homage to the city of Venice and saw a high percentage of 99 percent of seats filled. Approximately 11.720 guests attended the festival. The Detroit Symphony Orchestra (DSO) announced the appointment of Australian-born conductor Ingrid Martin as its new Assistant Conductor and Phillip and Lauren Fisher Community Ambassador, to commence with the 2025–2026 season.
