Der italienische Posaunist Rocco Rescigno, Solo-Posaunist der Duisburger Philharmoniker-Deutsche Oper am Rhein, hat ein Programm mit neun zeitgenössischen Solostücken für sein Instrument aufgenommen.

Darin kann er nicht nur technisch brillieren, weil er alles spielen kann, mit dem die Komponisten ihn herausfordern, sondern auch weil sein Posaunenklang in allen Stücken eine immer schöne und geschmeidig-seidene Qualität hat.

Für diesen Klang hat Manfred Schumacher in ein perfekt räumliches Klangbild geschaffen.

Italian trombonist Rocco Rescigno, principal trombonist with the Duisburg Philharmonic Orchestra-Deutsche Oper am Rhein, has recorded a program of nine contemporary solo pieces for his instrument.

In it, he not only shines technically, because he can play everything the composers challenge him with, but also because his trombone sound has a consistently beautiful and smooth, silky quality in all the pieces.

Manfred Schumacher has created a perfectly spatial sound image for this sound.
