The Siberian State Symphony Orchestra, scheduled to begin an eight-week-long U.S. tour by mid-January, was forced to cancel the first concerts of the tour. According to the local organizers U.S. immigration officials have denied entry to the symphony, which is made up of 81 musicians. No reasons were given by tour organizers, but they did say they hope to save some of the later dates on the tour which is set to last through the month of March.

All concerts are supposed to be led by Vladimir Lande, Music Director and Conductor of the Siberian State Symphony Orchestra, as well as Music Director and the conductor of Washington Soloists Chamber Orchestra and the Music Director of COSMIC Symphony Orchestra.
