Ettore Pagano

Due to an injury to his left hand, cellist Sheku Kanneh-Mason has cancelled his concerts with the Orchestra dell’ Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia in Rome on 5, 6 and 7 February. Italian cellist Ettore Pagano will take over Edward Elgar’s cello concerto under the baton of Lorenzo Viotti.

Winner at just 22 years of age of the Abbiati Prize 2025 as ‘best soloist’ awarded by Italian music critics, and in the same year of the ICMA-Classeek Award, Pagano has played numerous concerts in Italy and abroad.
