On Saturday evening in Bonn, 25-year-old American Seth Schultheis, who lives in London, prevailed over Amir Ron (Israel) and Jonas Stark (Germany) in the final of the Telekom Beethoven Competition in Bonn. The audience prize went to Amir Ron.

Schultheis impressed with his interpretation of Ludwig van Beethoven’s Second Piano Concerto, accompanied by the Beethoven Orchestra Bonn under Oksana Lyniv. All finalists can look forward to prize money of €50,000 (1st place), €25,000 (2nd place), €10,000 (3rd place) and concert engagements, including at the Beethovenfest Bonn.
