Dieses Album vereint Werke von Barockkomponisten, die von Transkribenten wie Kempff, Busoni, Siloti, Petri sowie von Melikyan selbst arrangiert wurden und umfasst Arien, Choräle, Klagelieder und Tänze.

Das Problem ist wohl, dass es sich meist um ruhige Stücke handelt, was die knappe Stunde Musik etwas monoton werden lässt. Melikyan tut auch nichts, um die Stücke zu diversifizieren, um sie zu beleben und attraktiv werden zu lassen. Mit fehlt es in diesem Programm an Seele.

This album brings together works by Baroque composers, arranged by transcribers such as Kempff, Busoni, Siloti, Petri, and Melikyan himself, and includes arias, chorales, lamentations, and dances.

The problem is that most of the pieces are quiet, which makes the hour of music somewhat monotonous. Melikyan does nothing to diversify the pieces, to enliven them and make them attractive. This program lacks soul.
