Robert Trevino

American conductor Robert Trevino, 42, has been appointed as Principal Conductor of the George Enescu Philharmonic Orchestra in Bucharest. His contract is set to start at the beginning of the 2026/27 season.

He is Principal Guest Conductor of the Orchestra Sinfonica Nazionale della RAI and was Principal Conductor of the Basque National Orchestra from 2017 to 2025. From 2019 to 2021, he was Principal Conductor of the Malmo Symphony Orchestra.
