The Monte-Carlo Philharmonic Orchestra announced the appointment of Nathalie Stutzmann, 60, as Music and Artistic Director for a four-year term beginning in September 2026. She will succeed Kazuki Yamada, who arrived in Monaco in 2016, and will be the first woman to hold this position.
The French conductor has been music director of the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra since the 2022/2023 season and will remain in the role until 2029.
