Lithuanian conductor Mirga Gražinytė-Tyla, 39, who cancelled already her scheduled December concerts with the Gewandhausorchester in Leipzig, has now also cancelled her concerts with the Spanish National Orchestra and Choir.

She was scheduled to take the podium in Madrid on January 23/25 for the OCNE’s 12th subscription concert, has just announced that she is canceling her participation on medical advice as a result of her recovery from surgery.
