MERITA Platform presernts the 44 new ensembles selected for MERITAcubed, the second project edition of the European platform dedicated to nurturing the artistic and professional development of emerging chamber music ensembles across Europe.
The open call received 113 applications from groups of 39 different nationalities, highlighting an exceptional level of artistic excellence. The selection of 44 ensembles comprises 22 string quartets and 22 piano trios.
The 44 ensembles will join the 38 string quartets of the first edition (2022 – 2025) already presented on the Platform, 12 of which are currently developing a new project within MERITAcubed. Together, the 82 ensembles form a vibrant European community, bringing together 306 musicians of 41 different nationalities, based in 16 different countries.
