Sixty-three -year-old Argentinian tenor and conductor José Cura will serve as principal guest conductor of the Eastern Bulgarian Stara Zagora Opera next season, the institution’s press office announced. Cura, who lives with his family in Madrid, has been working as a conductor and director for many years.
