Die polnisch-österreichische Pianistin Natalia Rehling bestätigt auf diesem Album ihr Talent und ihre Autorität in der Interpretation von Chopins Musik, wo sie einen sehr persönlichen Stil gefunden hat.

Sie gibt den Werken auf dem Programm eine oft maßvoll dramatische und leidenschaftliche Lesart, fernab von jeglicher sentimentaler Manieriertheit und Affektiertheit

Die Tempi sind im normalen Bereich, der Klavierklang ist rund und warm, mit schönen Farbnuancen. So kam ein gutes Chopin-Recital zustande.

On this album, Polish-Austrian pianist Natalia Rehling confirms her talent and authority in interpreting Chopin’s music, where she has found a very personal style.

She gives the works on the program an often moderately dramatic and passionate interpretation, far removed from any sentimental mannerism or affectation.

The tempos are within the normal range, and the piano sound is round and warm, with beautiful nuances of color. The result is a fine Chopin recital.
